Louella Bryant holds B.A. and Master’s in Education and Human Development from George Washington University and Master’s in Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College. After twenty-five years teaching high school English, Louella spent a dozen years on the faculty of Spalding University’s MFA in Writing low-residency program in Louisville. She is author of eight books, including five historical novels, a story collection, a memoir, and a biography set during the Vietnam era. Her stories, essays, and poems have won awards and are included in numerous anthologies and magazines.
