Elisabeth Horan is an imperfect creature from Vermont advocating for animals, children and those suffering alone and in pain - especially those ostracized by disability and mental illness.
Elisabeth serves as Editor-in-Chief at Animal Heart Press and Co-Editor at Ice Floe Press.
She is a poetry mentor to many up-and-coming brilliant poets, and proud momma to Peter and Thomas.
She earned her Masters in English from Southern New Hampshire University, and her MFA in Poetry from Lindenwood University.
Elisabeth is the author of numerous chapbooks and collections, including Alcoholic Betty, at Fly on the Wall Press, and The Mask, at Broken Spine Arts Press.
She was honored to receive nominations for Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize in 2018, 2019, and 2022.
